Welcome to your very own A to Z Bible Journey Worksheet! Where you learn to colour your favourite Bible characters. This is a treasure map that takes you through the most amazing stories ever told. Just like when you first learn ABC in school, here is an A-Z of the Bible. From “A” for Ark to “Z” for Zion, you’ll get to use your brightest crayons to bring God’s Word to life. As you colour, remember the Bible verse “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). This will guide you through this journey, and every page you turn is an opportunity to learn about God’s love and to meet incredible heroes like Noah, Daniel, David, and Isaac, among others. You will see how much God loves and cares for you. So, grab your favourite markers, pick a letter, and let’s start the journey!
The Bible
It is like a huge lamp that can guides out of a dark place. Imagine you find yourself in a dark room with no one around; you will need a light to see your way around. The bible has clear instructions that:
- Helps us know where to step so we don’t get hurt: God’s word acts like a giant light, showing us exactly where to go so we stay safe and avoid “tripping” (Psalm 119:105).
- It takes away our dark feelings like fear and sadness: when we take things that aren’t ours, it is easy to feel burdened and sad. The fear of what happens next could be very scary. The Bible tells us that we don’t have to stay stuck in our scary place. God is always ready to fix our mistakes so that we can feel brave again (Isaiah 41:10).

The Cross: God’s Bridge of Love
As children of God, there is always a consequence each time we make bad choices {Romans 6:23}. The cross is a bridge that helps us to move from our mistakes to a solution.
- The Problem (Sin): Our mistakes and bad choices always lead us away from God’s love. Sometimes, our imperfect actions, such as fighting our friends or having a bad attitude towards our parents and teachers when they correct us, can become serious issues later.
- The Bridge (Solution): The cross is the only bridge that reconnects us to God, allowing us to have a close relationship with him again. However, following the way of the cross isn’t always easy or “fun.” Sometimes, it means doing things that feel hard for us, like being the first to say “I’m sorry” to a friend, a parent, or a teacher at school.

Faith: Walking with an Invisible God
Faith is not just about believing. It is like walking down an unclear road, yet knowing we will reach our destination. God is our destination, while our faith is the road. Faith is knowing something is possible even when we are not sure.
- Seed: Our faith is like a seed. If you don’t plant a seed, it can not grow. One’s faith can either be big or small. Jesus told us that even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains with it. (Matthew 17:20). As children, we can let our faith grow by reading the word of God ( Romans 10:17).
- Faith is action: Faith without action is dead (James 2:17). Having faith means more than just saying the words “I believe.” Real faith is something we do. The Bible tells us that if we say we have faith but we don’t act on it, that faith is like a battery that doesn’t work—it is “dead.” It’s like preparing for an exam without reading and expecting to get a good result.

Jesus: The Best Friend Who Never Leaves
Jesus came into the world like a little baby. He has a mother called Mary and was born in a manger. One of Jesus’ major purposes is to save us from sin. Jesus is not only our saviour, but he is also our friend. Just like we have our friends in school and church.
- Our teacher: from the Bible, we learnt that Jesus taught in the synagogue many times. He often goes from place to place teaching about the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 9:35). This is a characteristic we, as God’s children, must emulate.
- Jesus healed and helped people: The Bible is filled with the miracles Jesus performed. As children, we can trust Jesus to heal us when we are sick and help us when we don’t know what to do.

Kindness: Sharing God’s heart with the world
Kindness is not just being nice to your friends. It is showing them the true heart of God. The heart of God is all love, even when we don’t deserve it. Kindness is when we, as children, love our friends enough to forgive them when they hurt or wrong us. Kindness is not often seen among children, especially after they have just fought. But as God’s Children, we are to show the world what true kindness is and what it feels like.
- Kindness is a Superpower: It is one of the fruits of the spirit mentioned in the Bible (Galatians 5:22). It is not something we invent by ourselves, but rather what the spirit of God enables us to do. Just as Superman has the power to fly and save people, kindness gives us the power to do what we cannot do on our own.
- Kindness is being helpful and caring. When our friends are in need, and we are the only ones available to help, as God’s children, we must make every effort to help others, because that is what God expects of us and helps us stand out among our peers. Sharing our food or snacks with those who don’t have is also another way to show kindness.
